Who are we?

Pluno is a fully autonomous AI customer support team. It answers all customer questions based on the company's knowledge, and asks the team for input whenever it doesn't know how to solve the problem.

We’re already answering over 1 million questions annually, with Pluno powering the largest communities like Lovable, AAVE, and Dune. After becoming the go-to-solution for the community market, we’re now expanding into general customer support for B2B SaaS companies.

To fulfill this vision, we closely develop our product based on customer feedback, so that our product is an effective solution based on market needs and not just another generic chatbot flooding the market.

As Senior Backend Engineer at AwesomeQA, you will lead all tech decisions regarding our backend. You will work with the team to improve continuously our backend and ship new features. Furthermore, you will work on integrating multiple data sources (blockchain and community data) into our backend, and creating a more seamless experience for the frontend to access this data.

Performance objectives

• Design and deliver quality software solutions and new products that help move the company forward.
• Lead decisions in the whole development cycle from architecture design, to implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Take responsibility for keeping our backend codebase healthy (easy to understand and easy to change)
• Integrate and improve the AI powering our product
• Provide guidance (through code reviews, pair programming and insight hours) to our other engineers to ensure a high-quality backend setup and codebase.
• Work in an agile environment according to DevOps methodology and concepts.
• Keep learning about new technologies and practices related to our tech stack and assess whether and how they can be used at AwesomeQA.

• PostgreSQL, Firestore (Managed by GCP)
• Kubernetes & Docker for all services (Frontend, Backend, Discord-bot, etc.)
