After having worked on multiple projects together during high school and uni (e.g. an AI-driven day planner app), we both gained experience as early engineers in b2b saas startups.
Since we knew we can work very well together and always wanted to create something huge, we decided to commit on our entrepreneurial journey even without having an idea. So, Alex quit his job at the end of 2021 and we started doing discovery full-time.
After a quick stint in the chemical industry, we participated in several web3 hackathons and won some great prices there. During this time, we discovered the problem space of community management from an end-user side, since we could not find relevant information for many projects.
To understand the perspective of the businesses, we conducted a lot of user interviews which confirmed that especially customer support is a huge pain inside the communities. So, in April 2022 we built a scrappy prototype to answer repetitive questions in the Discord group chats and got extremely positive feedback as well as amazing traction with it.
Using the access to our awesome customers we shaped more of our vision and raised a funding round from top-notch VCs and angels.
